Tom Super

Tom
Super is Senior Associate with Greener and Hook, LLC, a
Washington DC-based consulting firm focused on communications,
public affairs and politics in all fifty states and our nation's
Capital. The firm provides strategic counsel to corporations, trade
associations, ad-hoc organizations and political clients.
Since joining the agency in
2002, Super has specialized in assisting Greener and Hook's
corporate and political clients with a host of needs including
day-to-day client management, creative writing, media relations,
communications strategy, and key project oversight.
Super's past experience
working in the nation's capital comes as a legislative aide to
United States Senator John W. Warner from 1999 into 2002. There
Super was responsible for monitoring and briefing Senator Warner on
key issues emanating from the Senator's work on the Senate Health,
Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Super's focus was mainly in
the areas of health care, education, welfare reform and budget
issues, while also assisting with appropriations requests for the
Commonwealth of Virginia.
While working on Capitol Hill,
Super took a leave of absence to work for senior managers at the
2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia. At the
convention, Super was involved in key facets of convention planning
including credentials, congressional and corporate relations, and
managing floor activity.
A 1999 graduate of Washington
& Lee University, in Lexington, Virginia, Super earned his Bachelor
of Arts degree in Public Policy, with a key focus on politics and
economics. While at W&L, Super served as captain of the Men's
Lacrosse team leading the team to a #1 national ranking during his
senior year. Super was named to the 1999 North-South All-Star game,
and was an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete. In
addition, he is a member of Beta Theta Pi.
A native of Philadelphia, Super
and his wife, Jennifer, currently reside in Kensington, Maryland.
