Michael J. Hook

Michael J. Hook, founding partner of Greener & Hook LLC, has aided political clients, corporations, trade associations, and ad-hoc organizations, develop creative communications solutions for over 20 years.

His expertise—providing hands-on strategic communications counsel—has helped clients such as: Americans for Free and International Trade, Coors Brewing Company, Verizon Communications, the Kellogg Foundation, the 1996 and 2000 Republican National Convention, and various members of Congress influence public opinion, and win public debates.

Prior to founding Greener and Hook, Hook served as Chief of Staff for the Republican National Committee (RNC), and Director of Issue Advertising for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). Before his NRCC service Hook was Assistant Convention Manager for the 1996 Republican National Convention where he managed the Convention's government relations, served as the chief liaison to the Republican presidential campaign and the corporate community, and oversaw its communications team. Serving as Chief of Staff and chief House leadership aide for Congressman Bill Paxon (R-NY), Hook played a key role in helping House Republicans achieve their first majority in 40 years (1994).

A 1982 graduate of Arizona State University, Hook earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He resides in Alexandria with his wife, Vicki.
