Greener and Hook Teams with Take ’08 Events for the 2008 Republican National Convention.
Greener and Hook has entered into a strategic partnership with Erich Mische, Sen. Norm Coleman's (R-Minn.) former chief of staff, and Monica Notzon, the founder of the Bellwether Group, a Republican fundraising and consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., forming Take ’08 Events Unlimited, a local and national planning company working with groups wishing to maximize their experience at the 2008 Republican presidential nominating convention.

Greener and Hook partner Bill Greener, a longtime hand in Republican conventions, was the convention manager for the 1996 Republican National Convention held in San Diego, while Michael Hook was the assistant convention manager for that event, handling the convention's government relations activities. Both Greener and Hook played leadership roles to the 2000 convention in Philadelphia.
Ed Brookover, Chair of the Greener and Hook political practice who is managing the firm’s participation in the partnership, previously has run the national political operations of the three national Republican campaign committees, including the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, in addition to a stint as executive director of the Ohio Republican Party.
The 2008 Republican National Convention will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota, Sept. 1-4.
